1) Published 2 monthly newsletters, Beginning in July, 2000
2) Established Assistant/Associate Deans Council, February, 2001
3) Established a re-configured Blueprint Undergraduate Council for Excellence,
April,2001
4) Established a two-day conference for Transformation in Higher Education
May 14-15, 2001. Led the selection/identification of 40 Meriwether Lewis
faculty fellows and a 20 member Corps of Discovery. They will interact
with:
Harry
Boyte, senior fellow, codirects the Center for Democracy and
Citizenship, the Humphrey Institute at the University of Minnesota.
John O’Connor visiting scholar at the American Association
of Higher Education (AAHE), previously Vice Provost for Information
Technology and professor of English and American Studies at George
Mason.
James Groccia is the Director of the Program for Excellence
in Teaching, Assistant to the Dean of the Graduate School, and a
member of the Graduate Faculty in the department of Educational
Leadership and Policy Analysis at the University of Missouri, Columbia.
Clayton Lillienfeldt National Manager: Institutional &
Social Development, he was tasked with issues of diversity, transformation,
racism, project management & program monitoring & evaluation,
conflict management, workers rights, issues of poverty eradication,
team building and problem solving.
